About Me
"Now this is the law of the jungle, as old and as true as the sky,
and the wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the wolf that shall break it must die.
As the creeper that girdles the tree trunk, the law runneth forward and back,
For the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack."
- Rudyard Kipling
I cannot remember how old I was when I first saw a Boxer dog, but I knew from that very moment that I wanted one. Once I was married and we finally thought we could give a dog a happy home, there was not a shadow of a doubt what breed we were looking at.
Thats when Kaiser came storming into our life. The little pup that was to take over our lives completely, and change my understanding of dogs forever.

Of course, we treated him like a baby. Talking to him, humanising his every step and his every look. We showered him with love and affection. We found ourselves justifying our actions -
“Awww but he’s so cute………he’s only a baby” etc etc, Sound familiar?
Even though we had both had dogs in the past, little did we know at this time that we were doing everything we possibly could to cause problems later on. We felt it was ok for this little bundle of fluff to jump all over us, well “he was just happy to see us”, very different story as he grew up though.
I can also say that we could tick all the problems listed on my homepage!
- and then some more!
I started reading books on dog training and watching programmes and documentaries, I even enrolled on a dog psychology course, but, I never seemed to have that EUREKA moment. Everything I was watching or reading was giving me lots of information and knowledge, BUT, I wasn’t really getting the answers that I was so desperately searching for and needed.
 | Jumps up at you and/or visitors Shows signs of aggression to other dogs/people Follows you around the house Refuses to return on request/fails to respond to

THEN................
I came across Dog Listening. That is when I had the "Eureka" moment. After reading about it, I was very sceptical as to how this method works, as it seemed so simple. Although I knew it was going to take a lot of hard work on our behalf I thought that this was finally a method that I believed in and wanted to learn more about. I could finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. I thought we would have to settle for having this lunatic dog for the rest of our lives.

After seeing the results I decided to help other people with their dogs. So I completed the courses in Dog Listening and I hold the Certificate in Advanced Canine Communication
So here I am today ready to help you and your dog/s.
I am very proud of my qualifications and the fact that I belong to a group of like minded people at PURE Dog Listeners. The one thing we all have in common is the fact that we have you and your dogs’ very best interests at heart.
