Rescue Dogs
Dogs end up in rescue for many reasons. There is no point in taking a dog from a rescue centre and trying to over compensate for the dogs past by showering him with lots of affection. Sometimes we have no idea of what the dogs past is, we cannot change the dogs past, so, from the moment you take your dog home a line needs to be drawn to say this is your future, we understand you and your needs and from this day forward we will show you where you fit in to your new family so that you are not confused and stressed.
We have all heard the saying "You can't teach an old dog new tricks"! Well I can tell you that you can. That sentence is a myth. So many times people pass by the older dogs and head straight for the younger dogs or more often than not the cuddly, fluffy puppies because they think the older ones cannot be trained.
